At Sungkyun Language Institute, we offer various hobby classes each semester to help students better understand Korean culture.

In the Minhwa class this semester, students explored the aesthetics of Korean calligraphy and the formative principles of Hangul script, and created their own calligraphy artwork based on Korean proverbs and sayings.

Through learning traditional brush techniques and practicing the harmony between writing and painting, students completed Hangul calligraphy artworks that will be featured in a 2026 calendar.

We hope this class provided students with a meaningful opportunity to appreciate the cultural value and artistic beauty of Korean calligraphy.
