Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) and Peking University (PKU)’s jointly held 2nd Korea-China Academic Forum will be hosted in SKKU’s Humanities & Social Sciences Campus and Natural Sciences Campus from Sep. 9 to 11. This jointly held academic forum will have a total of 40 professors from both universities including the PKU delegation representative and International Executive Vice President, Li Yan Song.
In this year’s forum in-depth presentations and discussions will be made by professors of both universities. Especially the focus is on reconfirming the trust and strategic partnership relation garnered through the 1st Korea-China Forum (Held in Peking Univ.), and upgrading the essential exchange areas of both universities, broadening exchange and establishing a base for regularizing the forum.
As a total of 4 academic fields holding forums this year, and with the main theme being “Creative cooperation to excel east asian joint development”, the sessions are divided into Law/ Business, which will be held in the International Hall at the Humanities & Social Sciences Campus, and the Information Communication & Nano session which will be held at the Samsung Library at the Natural Sciences Campus.
With the SKKU Law School and PKU Law School professors congregating at the Law session on “Constitutionalism”, discussions on civil law, international law, patent law and others are expected to be dealt, while SKKU College of Information & Communication Engineering with PKU’s Electrical Engineering/ Computer Sciences will have presentations and talks on specialized fields such as computer vision, multi-media and communications and others at the Information Communication & Nano session.
